The search option is not limited to email bodies but include also attachments, organized contact list, and calendars. This also prevents incorporation of bulk mails and spam and avoid viruses that usually target Microsoft Outlook.

The WordPerfect program has shortcuts and time-saving strategies. Commonly used special characters like symbols and foreign language are stored. The 16 most recently used characters and symbols are easily retrievable by clicking the snowflake button located on the right of the property bar. For other special characters, foreign alphabets, and symbols the “More” button at the lowermost part of the palette will show 1,500 more.

The “QuickFormat” feature represented by a paint roller button on the toolbar will present a dialog box for quick copying of a formatted heading to another portion of a document. Certain portions of document like paragraphs or just segment of it can also be formatted for artistic effect or stress the point of the text portion. If a large portion of the document is needed to be converted to upper or lower case there is the convert case option in the edit menu. In cases where only a couple of lines are on the last page, it can be squeezed in by adjusting the line spacing.
